Two weeks ago I gave you the whirlwind tour of all the platforms I work across. This week we're slowing down and taking a proper look at my favourite site – Loyalfans. I'm going to break down how it works for me, for you, and why it matters where you choose to spend your money.

Yes, it has its drawbacks. All subscription platforms like this must abide by certain rules set by Visa and Mastercard – that's just the reality of processing adult content in 2026. But how LF handles those rules is what sets them apart from everyone else 🌶️

Loyalfans moderates every post before it gets published, usually within minutes. So they don't just send out unnecessary bans or delete your content without your knowledge or send you threats of a ban. Instead, if anything gets flagged, you get contacted by a team member. A real person. And you can have a civil conversation with them about it. They'll tell you exactly why something isn't allowed or what you can do to edit it so it complies. Compare that to Onlyfans, where content just vanishes and you get a vague automated message that leaves you guessing 🤬


Loyalfans also actively shouts out creators online on sites like Twitter. They provide tutorials for both creators and consumers on how to best utilise the platform. And I can say from first-hand experience that I've had to contact their support team for help on silly questions and to send them suggestions – and they actually respond like human beings who care 🥰

They certainly have room for improvement, like all sites. But so far they have really shown that they are making an effort to stand with sex workers rather than against us. And in this industry, that's rare enough to be worth shouting about 💥

  • Scheduling up to 4+ years in advance – crucial for someone with chronic health issues

Pros And Cons: The Customer Side

Pros:

Let's be honest. Onlyfans is the giant in the room. Everyone knows the name, the traffic is enormous, and payment is frictionless with any card. That's why it's LF's biggest competitor – sheer volume of users and ease of payment

But here's what OF doesn't tell you as a customer: that convenience comes at a cost to the creator. OF's inconsistent enforcement of their own vague terms means I never know if my content will survive upload. My BDSM and gagged content is regularly removed. I can't schedule more than a year in advance. I have to make my own thumbnails and ad videos. There's no clip store – everything is either wall content or a separate PPV DM. Cross-posting to X is bare bones with no photo attached. And the ever-present threat of a sudden ban looms over every creator on the platform 😡

And when something gets flagged on OF? You don't get a conversation. You get an automated message, a removal, and sometimes a threat to your account. No explanation of what you could change. No human to talk to. Just silence and anxiety 😤
